Brick Township is one of the largest towns in Ocean County and borders the towns of Mantoloking, Point Pleasant and Lakewood. Most of Brick Township is located inland but there is a portion that is separated from the inland that is located on the Barnegat Peninsula just below Mantoloking. To get from the inland to the ocean front portion of Brick you must travel through Mantoloking itself.

Living in Brick

What is most notable about the township of Brick is that it has been consistently in the top safest cities in the entire country. At one point it was the safest city in the country. This is a very good characteristic of Brick especially for the size of the town.

Being that it is one of the largest towns in Ocean County, it is also a main shopping hub for the smaller surrounding towns. Along with multiple shopping options there are also other amenities to take advantage of. One of those amenities is the beach.

Brick has a portion of the township located on the Barnegat Peninsula which is the ocean front part of the community but Brick’s location in proximity to other beach areas like Mantoloking, Point Pleasant Beach and a few others gives you multiple options on which beach you would like to spend your day at.

As with most towns in this area boating and fishing is also a big aspect of living in Brick. There are many options for both fishing and boating whether it is the Manasquan River, the Metedeconk River, Barnegat Bay or the Atlantic Ocean. Brick touches all three of these bodies of water which allows for an incredible diverse collection of places to fish from or enjoy other water activities.
